Relay for Life 2010

As most of you know, Jason's mom, Shirley, passed away of lung cancer on September 14, 2007. She was a truly AMAZING person and one way that we honor her is to walk in the Relay for Life every year. This year was the girls first one and although it was really cold and windy, we were all there together! We wouldn't have missed it for the world!!

Grandpa Cassady was freezing! Of course he forgot his jacket and was wearing shorts so we had to improvise to keep him warm.

The luminaria ceremony is our favorite part of the walk. Candle-lit bags with messages of those loved ones who've won their battle, are still fighting their battle, or lost their battle to cancer line the walkway. It truly is a beautiful sight!

Visit from Auntie Sarah, Jess and the Gang

Auntie Sarah, Jess, Jerred, Jake and Brookie all stopped by for a visit. It was so great to see them all.

All of a sudden, we look over and little Brookie is chillin' in the bouncy chair. Apparently she thought it was hers. She was so cute!!!

Auntie Sarah was so cute.....all she kept saying was how she loved the way the girls smelled. And boy does she do the best swaddling I've ever seen. Ava and Ella were perfect little burritos!!!
