Splish-Splash!!!

On Father's Day at Kim and Tim's we all decided to go swimming. This was Ava and Ella's first water experience outside of their nightly baths (which they absolutely love). The water was a little cool, but it was really warm outside so we thought we'd give it a try. They were so cute in their bathing-suits and little hats!!!Jason and Tim were the lucky ones who took the girls in the water. Both Ava and Ella did really well at first.
Ava started to freak out a little...what's new :)Daddy to the rescue!!!Ella loved the water!!! Especially floating on her back. We had to take her out because I'm sure it was getting a little chilly - but she would have stayed in there all day.

First Fathers Day

Father's Day this year was extra special because it was Jason's first! We had a great time visiting with family at Kim and Tim's house.

Ava and Ella are getting so BIG!!!!

This evening after the girls' bath, we weighed them. Ava is now 9lbs 3oz and Ella is 9lbs 6oz. I can't believe how big they have gotten. The yellow PJ's that they have on here are probably their favorites (well, my favorites at least - I don't think they care) and I have a feeling this will be one of the last times they get to wear them because they've gotten so long :(....

1st Naptime in their Big Girl Crib

Here are the girls down for their first nap in their cribs (well together in one crib). Of course, Miss Ella is behaving and Miss Ava is on her own schedule. They are also both in their 'usual' sleeping positions which are hilarious!

Although Ella and Ava are a little young to go in their Bumbos just yet, Jason thought it would be fun to see how they would do. Ella sat there happy as can be looking around and what do you know...Ava totally freaked out.
